Training New Instructors

Life as a new mom. Swing those legs, get them high and get high on working out this new life!

Being a trainer is one thing but being a stroller fitness trainer is a whole ball of buggy. The stroller is tougher to work with than a treadmill. The new mom, the new baby, the new life. A lot to handle as a trainer. When I head to class my head if full of back up plans, about five.  I never know if a mom is going to have a melt down, or the baby is going to have a melt down or God forbid, I have a melt down. I watch every foot, all the wheels, “scenes of struggle” and these days, ice, snow and cracks. I hear every cry, I feel every nerve and tension in the mom.  When a mom gets ready to come to one of my classes, I know how hard it is and so I must give her the best class she has ever had in her life. I approach each class as if it will be better than my last. Each class is like a piece of art to me. Every class is unique, different, wonderful, more beautiful than the next. But as a trainer, I need to instill in all my moms, that working out is not just fun and games, it is a commitment to the need that you must me strong, healthy and ready to meet the challenges that are ahead. Motherhood needs a training program and it is that serious.
